Laurel Levin is Feed the Truth’s Programs & Research Associate. Laurel brings research experience in the food and environmental justice through her work with the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP), and the University of California Santa Cruz’s Environmental Studies program. Laurel’s passions for social justice stem from her experience in climate justice organizing through the Fossil Free Divestment Movement and the Sunrise Movement. Most recently she served as the Development and Communications Associate at International Rivers.
Laurel graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Community Studies, with a concentration in Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems from the University of California Santa Cruz. When she is not organizing or working, Laurel loves spending time outside hiking or backpacking with friends.
